The Fannie Mae Foundation creates affordable homeownership and housing opportunities through innovative partnerships and initiatives that build healthy, vibrant communities across the United States. The Foundation is specially committed to improving the quality of life for the people of its hometown, Washington, DC, and to enhancing the livability of the citys neighborhoods. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the Foundation is a private, nonprofit organization whose sole source of support is Fannie Mae, and has regional offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Pasadena, and Philadelphia.
In support of its mission, Fannie Mae Foundation develops and disseminates knowledge on housing and community development issues; provides information about personal finance and the home buying process; conducts and sponsors research; and makes grants and loans to support affordable housing and community development initiatives in communities throughout the United States.
Fannie Mae Foundation provides a variety of publications on housing and community development topics at no charge to anyone interested in receiving them.
