Abstract
A Microsoft PowerPoint presentation on the nature of airports as an intermodal
facility between surface and air transport modes. Includes brief discussions
on airport facility and regulatory constraints, the lack of coordinated policies
to foster seamless intermodal connectivity between surface and air
transport modes, and examples of how various airport surface transportation
modes at San Francisco International Airport (e.g., rental car shuttles) interface
with air passengers.
