Disseminating Development Data: The Arlington County Experience
Session: Disseminating Development Data April 1, 4:00 PM Lisa A. Fowler Justin S. Clarke This presentation demonstrates how to set up a development tracking database that can be used to disseminate development data to different groups via multiple media. An explanation of how the system was built and maintained will be provided, with discussion of the data used, the inter-departmental coordination necessary, and the software utilized. The usefulness of this development tracking system is enhanced when different groups can receive relevant information via different media. A demonstration is given on how different types of users benefit from being able to access the same information in different ways. Challenges and future enhancement are also discussed.
